This is a dark historical fantasy set on the edge of Roman Gaul, told through the eyes of a druid. It’s a bleak, atmospheric piece with a fatalistic tone, minimal exposition, and a deliberate distance from heroic fantasy, drawing inspiration from late Iron Age ritual practice.
